Alchemy features original art songs composed by Charisse Baldoria: The Kiss (poetry by Sara Teasdale) and Alchemy (poetry by Denise Levertov), sung by baritone Erik Santos and soprano Mara O’Malley. Also on the program are pieces from Godowsky’s Java Suite, a set of musical portraits of 1923 Java.
